Requirements

Bachelor’s degree (Advanced education or certifications such as MBA, MHA, DVM or CVPM are a plus)
5+ years Leadership experience in veterinary hospital operations, healthcare administration, or related industries such as healthcare technology, consulting, or practice management service firms
Demonstrated leadership experience with a strong track record of driving operational improvement and managing complex projects
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, reporting) and PowerPoint (executive-level presentations, reporting decks)
Proven ability to analyze data, identify trends, and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and strategic thinking skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and collaborate across diverse teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with veterinary software such as ezyVet, VetRadar, or other EMR/PACS systems
Experience leading cross-functional projects from planning to execution, with the ability to manage competing priorities and timelines
Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards, client experience initiatives, or veterinary practice management software
Formal training or certifications in project management (e.g., PMP, Lean Six Sigma)
Background in healthcare or veterinary practice launches or operational expansions

Responsibilities

Practice Support
Partner with practice leaders to evaluate and improve daily operations
Collaborate with Finance, HR, and Marketing to resolve issues, track progress, and ensure hospital needs are met
Analyze workflows, identify inefficiencies, and design practical solutions
Use reporting and data analysis to support recommendations
Provide support during new hospital openings by assisting with onboarding, system setup, workflow development, and troubleshooting as needed
Leadership Projects & Reporting
Manage operations projects on behalf of the Nightingale leadership team
Support cross-functional initiatives that drive efficiency, growth, and consistency across the hospital network
Develop reports and presentations that translate operational data into actionable insights
Track hospital and project performance metrics to support decision-making
Partner with Finance, HR, Marketing, and Facilities to align hospital needs with broader organizational goals
