Requirements

  • Ability to support IDBS leadership in formulating and articulating product strategy using market & customer insight, market segmentation, competitive intelligence, and product positioning/performance
  • Expertise in managing the full product lifecycle, including new product ideation, business case development, gathering/prioritizing requirements, launches (positioning, marketing/sales enablement, field education, pricing), and sunsetting/depreciation
  • Experience delivering annual objectives for product lines (revenue, customer health/retention, quality, new product commercialization) and leading cross-functional problem-solving
  • Capability to create a “lean” culture for accelerating innovation, predictable software releases incorporating voice of customer, and promoting continuous improvement tools/processes for high quality and simplified customer deployment
  • Skills in exploring, evaluating, and establishing technology partnerships with external companies/vendors
  • Strong collaboration with leadership in Engineering, Quality & Regulatory, Professional Services, Marketing, and Sales, ensuring effective information flow between customers, customer-facing teams, product, and engineering
  • Proven leadership in building/developing a high-performing Product Management team aligned with Danaher’s Leadership Anchors, focusing on motivation, retention, succession planning, and a culture of continuous improvement/innovation
  • Commitment to building psychological safety within the team and across collaborating functions (Engineering, Sales, Operations)

Responsibilities

  • Build and lead a high-performing Product Management team that translates company strategy into products/offerings advancing human health and next-generation therapies
  • Provide informed market/customer insights to support product strategy formulation
  • Maintain innovation funnel and roadmap for new product development, managing full product lifecycle
  • Deliver annual objectives for existing product lines and lead cross-functional issue resolution
  • Foster a lean culture for rapid innovation, predictable releases, and customer-focused improvements
  • Develop and promote adoption of tools/processes for continuous improvement, quality releases, and reduced time-to-value
  • Explore/evaluate/establish external technology partnerships to accelerate innovation
  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Quality & Regulatory, Professional Services, Marketing, and Sales leadership for seamless information flow
  • Enable Product & Strategy organization with tools, processes, and structure to achieve growth ambitions
  • Champion psychological safety culture within team and across functions
