A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required, with a Master’s degree preferred; candidates must possess at least four years of experience in RTL design and verification of silicon, along with expertise in Verilog/SystemVerilog, C/C++/SystemC, and UVM. Strong analytical problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of wireless, mobile, and storage domains are also essential.
The Senior Digital Design Engineer will work with architecture and physical design teams to implement digital blocks, analyze performance, power, and area tradeoffs, and make implementation choices. They will be responsible for implementing test strategy and BIST features, designing and verifying the design on an FPGA platform, generating test vectors, and staying current with industry trends while contributing to roadmap decisions. Furthermore, the engineer will generate technical documentation and communicate effectively through written and verbal means.
