Responsibilities

  • Lead the Content Strategy for santander.com: Oversee overall content strategy, including creation in Spanish and English, supervision, editorial planning, proposing new approaches, ensuring regular updates, conducting research and analysis for articles and posts, and handling event and real-time content creation
  • Stakeholder Management and Editorial Governance: Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, act as final decision-maker on publications, ensure alignment with corporate priorities, tone of voice, and brand reputation, and coordinate with executives, corporate, business units, and country teams to identify best practices and provide innovative ideas
  • Serve as ultimate editorial authority for financial content within Digital Corporate Communications and Social Media, supervising corporate social media content, executive communications, and santander.com publications
  • Co-lead the Corporate Website Evolution Strategy: Partner with T&O teams to drive website evolution, promote innovation with emerging technologies like AI for content search, personalization, and indexing, analyze performance data, and innovate digital communications strategy to optimize communities and metrics
  • Produce compelling, accurate, and engaging content quickly under tight deadlines, maintaining high editorial and quality standards, proactively identify engagement opportunities, develop meaningful content to maximize reach and avoid reputational risks, and manage video content production and integration
  • Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural team, contributing to a creative, inclusive, high-performance environment aligned with Santander’s global brand and values, ensuring consistent messaging across communication channels
