Requirements

Candidates must possess 8+ years of experience in Web application development using Java in an AWS Cloud environment, holding a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, IT, or related disciplines. Strong foundational knowledge in Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices, Cloud, SOLID design principles, clean coding, agile development methodologies, MySQL/RBDMS databases, and developing RESTful APIs is required. Experience with TDD/BDD using JUnit testing is also necessary. Desired technical skills include performance optimization, cloud services (AWS, Azure), CI/CD tools (Azure Pipeline, Github Actions), and Spring Security & OAuth. The role also requires extensive experience in analytical thinking, identifying problem root causes, quantifying risks and benefits, and organizing sequential steps for problem resolution.

Responsibilities

The Senior Digital Architect will perform development assignments and programming tasks, working on complex projects, application systems, and infrastructure components. They will independently or collaboratively work on business features, maintaining high software quality standards and collaborating with engineers and other departments. Responsibilities include developing detailed software design deliverables, evaluating and deploying new technologies, and participating in addressing business requirements for applications. The architect will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver digital solutions, follow established standards and methodologies, mitigate risks, and build stakeholder confidence through on-time delivery. Additionally, they will mentor junior engineers, provide guidance on application/interface code and documentation, and stay updated on the latest IT development trends.
