Requirements

Knowledge of dialysis technician duties (e.g., cannulation, connecting/disconnecting machines, continuous patient monitoring, housekeeping maintenance, documentation)
Experience in patient care (patient history, dry weight assessment, complication management, medication, diet advice, moral support)
Understanding of clinical protocols, HD machine maintenance (disinfection, log books), RO maintenance (TDS/hardness tests, regeneration, backwash), Renatron maintenance
Familiarity with AAMI standards for water quality
Ability to train and mentor junior technical staff
Skills in documentation (HD sheets, RO logbook, reuse logbook, daily reports, revenue reports)

Responsibilities

Administration of center: staff management, attendance, duty roster, leave management, grievance redressal
Stock/Indent management: timely indents, daily stock register maintenance, safety stock, bi-weekly physical audits, sending delivery challans to purchase
RO maintenance: ensure water quality per AAMI standards
Documentation: daily reporting, revenue reports, medical records (HD sheets, RO logbook, reuse logbook), patient treatment scheduling
Inventory HO reporting, machine maintenance, Renatron maintenance, regeneration, backwash, TDS/hardness tests
Ensure clinical quality and strict adherence to protocols by dialysis technicians
Maintain HD machines (disinfection, log books) and center hygiene via housekeeping
Training and mentoring junior technical staff
Escalation of issues/events requiring management attention
Share/discuss clinical issues with quality team and nephrologists
Complete patient care: cannulation, machine connection/monitoring/disconnection, patient history/assessment, complication management, medication/diet advice, moral support
Accountable for smooth functioning of dialysis unit and patient retention
