Requirements

Candidates must have proven experience as a Platform Engineer, Senior DevOps Engineer, or similar role, with deep expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. They should possess hands-on experience with Kubernetes and cloud-native ecosystems, along with proficiency in observability and monitoring tools like Grafana, Loki, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry. Strong skills in at least one scripting language, such as bash or Python, are required, alongside experience with industry-standard CI/CD platforms like Jenkins, Github Actions, or Argo. Knowledge of version control systems (Git) and a passion for performance and scalability of web applications are also necessary, as are good communication and collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams. Related certifications, such as CKAD, CKA, or AWS Solutions Architect, are considered a plus.

Responsibilities

As a Senior DevOps Engineer, the individual will operate and deploy cloud services from development to production, developing tools and automations to simplify operations and deployments. They will monitor and improve system performance, troubleshoot issues, conduct capacity planning, and analyze system performance, working closely with developers to solve technical problems. Proactively identifying security issues and helping to address them is also a key responsibility, alongside contributing to the overall success of Transifex's customers and shaping the future of the company's cloud-native infrastructure.
