About the Role & Team

As part of the team, you will be working with a team of smart, friendly, and dedicated Engineers, Product Managers and Designers determined to deliver some of the best apps the market has to offer. We want you to be challenged and to get the full experience of what it’s like to work at Penn Interactive! We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our site reliability team, to work cross-functionally across engineering, and be the front line in stopping and preventing cyber-crime. This role will be immersed in threat detections and security hardening, as well as supporting all cloud security initiatives in the future.

About the Work

Responsibilities:

  • Responding to internal support requests (configuration changes, user management, troubleshooting).
  • Building out infrastructure automation.
  • Performing software upgrades.
  • Conducting general infrastructure improvements.
  • Other project-based work.

On-Call:

  • On-call rotation every 4 weeks to support the team as needed.

Other Duties:

  • As required.

About You

Experience:

  • Similar role or heavy systems support role.
  • Containerization: Experience with Containerization (Docker & Kubernetes preferred).
  • Automation: Experience with configuration management and infrastructure as code tools (Terraform preferred, Ansible, Helm, etc.).
  • Programming Languages: Experience with a programming language (Bash & Python preferred).
  • Linux: Extensive experience in Linux.
