Requirements

The Senior DevOps Engineer should possess 5+ years of experience in a DevOps role, demonstrated ability working with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, strong understanding of application, environment, and infrastructure security, proficiency in scripting to automate recurring tasks, and a strong understanding of network fundamentals (TCP/IP + OSI model layers 3 - 7). A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, and an AWS Professional DevOps Engineer certification is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

This role involves building and setting up new development tools and infrastructure, understanding the needs of stakeholders and conveying this to developers, designing, automating, and improving development and release processes, developing, updating, and managing Infrastructure as Code, ensuring that systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats, identifying technical problems and developing software updates, and collaborating with software developers and engineers to ensure development follows established processes. The Senior DevOps Engineer will also be involved in mapping out projects and participating in project management decisions.
