A Masters or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent), at least 5+ years of relevant experience, programming fluency in C/C++ with deep understanding of algorithms and software design, hands-on experience with low-level parallel programming like CUDA, OpenACC, etc., expertise in CPU/GPU architecture especially memory subsystem, and domain expertise in high performance databases, ETL, and data analytics are required.
The Developer Technology Team researches new algorithms and memory management techniques to accelerate databases on modern architectures, investigates hardware and system bottlenecks, optimizes data intensive applications, and influences next-generation hardware and software designs.
Experience optimizing distributed database systems and frameworks like production databases or Spark, and background with compression, storage systems, networking, and distributed computer architectures will help you stand out.
