Candidates must possess over 10 years of software development, architecture, and solution design experience, with deep expertise in AWS Mainframe Modernization (AWS M2) and proven experience with tools like Micro Focus, BluAge, or AWS Migration Hub. Strong secondary skills in Power BI for dashboards and data modeling, along with hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, RDS, DynamoDB), are essential. Working knowledge of Python for automation and familiarity with Generative AI tools are required. Experience in Agile/Scrum environments, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities are necessary. AWS Certifications, life insurance domain experience, and exposure to CI/CD, DevOps, and infrastructure as code are preferred.
The Senior Developer will lead the technical implementation of AWS M2 for mainframe modernization projects, designing and developing scalable, resilient architectures for migrating legacy systems to AWS cloud. They will define modernization strategies in collaboration with enterprise architects, integrate and visualize business data using Power BI, and leverage Python for scripting, automation, and building GenAI tools. Responsibilities include applying GenAI capabilities to enhance applications, driving best practices in architecture and coding standards within a regulated environment, mentoring junior developers, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Ensuring security, compliance, and performance throughout the software development lifecycle is also a key duty.
