Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Bioengineering or related scientific discipline. Master’s or above preferred
  • 6+ yrs relevant experience and a BS degree, or 4 yrs relevant experience and a MS degree, or equivalent years of education and experience in Engineering and Sciences
  • Understanding of the electro-mechanical, software, mathematical, chemical or biochemical process operative in diagnostic systems
  • Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
  • MATLAB Programming proficiency is required

Responsibilities

  • Work with stakeholders, users and product managers to uncover, understand, and translate business needs on sensor data ecosystem into technical requirements
  • Develop system design documentation, requirements specification and system architecture
  • Perform requirements writing, requirements management and analysis. Verify/validate requirements
  • Integrate analytical and performance related elements with software, hardware, and electronics system components
  • Design and conduct system level test and evaluation of tool ecosystem with complex data collection and data processing; Collect, organize, analyze, and document test results
  • Analyze unstructured and/or structured biological data from biosensor clinical trials, and evaluate biosensors performance to support product designs. Proactively identifies improvement opportunities for sensor product design and/or manufacturing process
  • Develop and prioritize user stories, along with success criteria for testing and product acceptance. Develop and maintain feature backlogs
  • Communicate effectively and participate on cross functional development teams with good negotiating skills to direct multi-disciplinary teams toward solutions
