Requirements
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, along with 7+ years of relevant working experience, preferably in a technical environment. They should have a strong understanding of database technologies such as SQL, ETL, PLSQL, T-SQL, or No-SQL, and experience with at least one RDBMS. Familiarity with visual analytics tools like Power BI is also required, as well as knowledge of methodologies like Agile and Waterfall.
Responsibilities
The Senior Data Specialist will be responsible for building, implementing, and supporting Microsoft BI solutions to meet client requirements, integrating and transforming data from various systems, translating functional design into technical solutions, designing and creating complex data conversion and ETL jobs, conducting quality control on developments, preparing technical documentation, and executing end-to-end unit testing. They will also identify data quality issues, provide recommendations for improvement, work with functional and development teams to resolve issues, execute data load, support data reconciliation, participate in integration testing, and document conversion results.
