Requirements

Candidates should possess strong business acumen and product sense, with excellent Python and SQL skills, including experience with libraries like Pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, and Jupyter. A strong understanding of both frequentist and Bayesian statistics, along with fundamental machine-learning algorithms such as regression and decision trees, is required. The ability to articulate positions effectively for collaboration and adapt quickly to changing priorities, managing complexity and change, is essential. Exceptional communication skills are also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Scientist will analyze user behavior to understand client interactions with the product, develop and implement experiments to evaluate new features, and apply causal inference methods. They will use machine learning algorithms for user segmentation and personalization, and develop/maintain core data models and pipelines for data quality and accessibility. Responsibilities also include partnering with Product, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams, building robust data models in a cloud data warehouse, applying statistical techniques and ML models to solve product problems, and adhering to software engineering best practices for analytics code.
