Candidates should have over five years of experience researching, designing, and developing machine learning algorithms, with a strong focus on solving real-world business problems. Expertise in developing algorithms for real-time decision-making or dynamic optimization problems, such as offer allocation, pricing, or recommender systems is required. Proficiency in machine learning, big data technologies, predictive analytics, and optimization techniques, including experience with contextual bandits, multi-armed bandits, or reinforcement learning is necessary. Strong programming skills in Python, with hands-on experience using machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn are also required, along with advanced SQL skills and familiarity with relational databases.
The Senior Data Scientist will research, design, test, and implement innovative machine learning algorithms and advanced data science methodologies to optimize real-time offer allocation, improve personalization strategies, and enhance targeting and offer assignments for the marketing engine. They will drive the development of cutting-edge algorithms that balance business constraints, customer behavior, and engagement objectives to ensure optimal, data-driven offer assignments. The role involves designing and enhancing models to develop scalable solutions, ensuring their applicability across products, partners, and diverse data environments, leveraging various data sources to enrich algorithms and demonstrate measurable business impact. The Senior Data Scientist will continuously innovate by researching, designing, testing, and improving algorithms for dynamic offer allocation, including exploration of multi-armed bandit approaches, contextual optimization techniques, and reinforcement learning. They will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish best practices for developing, automating, and standardizing advanced data science solutions, specifically focusing on real-time applications, and champion adopting scalable, automated solutions by working with Data Science Team Leads to integrate algorithms into production systems through rapid iteration and testing.
