Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related discipline, and have at least 7 years of experience in data science, with a minimum of 3 years in a leadership role. Strong experience in developing and deploying machine learning models is required, along with proficiency in programming languages like Python or R. Experience with large-scale datasets and distributed computing platforms is also preferred.
The Senior Data Science Manager will inspire, lead, and grow a team of data scientists to achieve the team’s longer-term vision, drive analytics/data science projects end-to-end in partnership with Product, Engineering, and other partners to inform product strategy and investment decisions, analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns, actively influence the design of strategy and shape the roadmap, generate and utilize team insights to set and prioritize longer-term goals, create and implement A/B testing and experimentation frameworks, continually develop and execute on a Data Science roadmap, and stay abreast of industry best practices.
