Requirements

Candidates must possess strong knowledge of GDPR, ePrivacy Directive, and local data protection laws, with fluency in English and German, and Arabic being a plus. Experience advising on privacy in a commercial, data-driven environment is essential, along with proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Proficiency in using OneTrust modules (DSAR, Inventory, Assessment, Cookie) and excellent communication, organization, and multitasking abilities are required. A recognized privacy certification such as CIPP/E or CIPM is preferred, as is a legal or data governance degree. The ability to travel and work effectively within a global, collaborative team is also necessary.

Responsibilities

The Senior Data Protection Manager will lead the review of Privacy Impact Assessments for the UK Hub, monitor and support remediation of privacy risks, and provide expert privacy guidance, particularly for Germany, the Middle East, and India. They will design and deliver tailored privacy training, develop and lead the regional Hub Privacy Programme, and manage audit remediation and privacy compliance for acquisitions and divestments. Additionally, they will lead and maintain a network of Privacy Champions, oversee responses to privacy rights requests, and identify trends and remediation requirements.
