Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in product management within a data/analytics team or similar
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, able to balance business needs and technical priorities
  • Proven experience running agile processes (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into actionable user stories and deliverables
  • Familiarity with modern data stacks (e.g. AWS, Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, Quicksight, etc.)
  • Understanding of data lifecycles, data quality, and the principles of good data management
  • Familiarity with data modeling concepts, SQL and APIs

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with stakeholders across the business to understand data needs, opportunities, and pain points
  • Translating business requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and tickets for the data engineering and data science/AI squads
  • Prioritising and managing both the data engineering and data science/AI backlogs to ensure alignment with company goals
  • Defining, maintaining, and communicating the overall data platform roadmap
  • Leading and facilitating agile ceremonies, sprint planning, refinement, retrospectives, and stand-ups
  • Tracking progress and delivery metrics, ensuring visibility across teams
  • Partnering with technical leads to scope projects, estimate effort, and ensure delivery feasibility
  • Championing best practices in documentation, data governance, and communication
