Requirements

  • Solid experience in data product management or similar roles (e.g., data platform PM, technical product manager, or data analyst with PM experience)
  • Strong understanding of data infrastructure, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift)
  • Familiarity with modern data tooling (DBT, Airflow, Tableau, or similar)
  • Experience writing and running SQL queries in a professional environment
  • Experience collaborating with data engineers and analytics teams to define requirements, manage roadmaps, and ensure delivery
  • Knowledge of data governance and compliance topics (GDPR, privacy-by-design principles)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; able to align technical and non-technical teams around shared priorities

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the data platform and pipeline roadmap, ensuring scalability, reliability, and accessibility of data across products and teams
  • Partner with data engineers, analysts, and other product managers to deliver end-to-end data solutions — from ingestion to visualization
  • Work with fellow Product Managers within Voodoo to anticipate dependencies and synchronize roadmaps
  • Build a holistic understanding of the data flow at Voodoo to arbitrate conflicting initiatives
  • Lead the roadmap and routines of the internal product analytics tool, improving how product teams track, visualize, and act on data
  • Collaborate with the Data Protection Officer (DPO) to ensure compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, consent management, data retention, etc.)
  • Prioritize data initiatives that maximize impact, balancing technical depth with business value
  • Promote data quality, consistency, and documentation across the organization
  • Foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement in how data is collected, structured, and used at Voodoo
