Requirements

  • University degree in economics, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or in a similar quantitative field
  • Proven track record of a minimum of 5 years in a highly analytical role, ideally in an e-commerce environment
  • Strong analytical skills and solid understanding of statistical methods, with the ability to extract meaningful insights from large and complex data sets
  • Solid programming skills in SQL and in Python
  • Experience with Google Analytics (BigQuery) is a plus
  • Previous experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. Microstrategy, Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus
  • Knowledge of time series forecasting and causality (causal inference and A/B testing) is a plus
  • Ability to concisely communicate the essence, conveying meaningful and relevant insights to analytical and non-analytical stakeholders alike
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills

Responsibilities

  • Connecting transactional data, onsite behavioural data and perception insights (derived from customer and panel surveys) to build a holistic understanding of our customers’ behaviour
  • Performing advanced deep dives on specific questions by applying various analytical and statistical methods to transactional and onsite data to support Markets in developing a frictionless customer experience
  • Consulting stakeholders regarding their ad-hoc analysis requests and providing them with clear and actionable insights
  • Independently leading and owning analytical projects and deriving recommendations for our stakeholders
  • Driving continuous improvement of the team’s methodological know-how by learning new skills and sharing knowledge with other team members
  • Supporting more junior analysts with guidance and sparring, leveraging your knowledge and experience to raise the bar for analytics within the team
