Fully qualified individual contributor with complete knowledge and full understanding of data engineering and broad knowledge of related areas
Ability to take broad challenges, perform independent analysis, identify options, and break them into implementable initiatives
Expertise in identifying opportunities and proposing solutions to improve internal processes, services, and structures
Proficiency in advanced analytical and problem-solving techniques to resolve non-standard problems
Works independently with minimal guidance; acts as a resource for less experienced colleagues
Ability to identify and devise solutions based on limited information and precedent, using evaluation and judgment for novel organizational problems
Experience enhancing relationships with senior internal/external partners, using data and analysis to persuade and address objections

Availability for hybrid work, reporting to Austin Innovation Technical Center at least three days per week

Responsibilities

Communicate and maintain Master Data, Metadata, Data Management Repositories, Logical Data Models, and Data Standards
Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture
Assemble large, complex data sets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements
Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements, including automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, and re-designing infrastructure for scalability
Build industrialized analytic datasets and delivery mechanisms using data pipelines to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency, and key business performance metrics
Work with business partners on data-related technical issues and develop requirements to support their data infrastructure needs
Create highly consistent and accurate analytic datasets suitable for business intelligence
