Requirements
Candidates should possess 4+ years of professional experience in data engineering, programming proficiency in Python, experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases, proven experience in data modeling and database design, experience with ETL design, implementation, and maintenance, and knowledge of data warehousing solutions, particularly Snowflake. A strong understanding of development workflows and best practices is also required.
Responsibilities
The Senior Data Engineer will completely own our data pipeline, playing a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our data infrastructure and ETL pipelines, leading the engineering team to ensure all code processes produce meaningful data stored in a performant manner. This role involves building and maintaining high-quality data solutions and large-scale data pipelines that process vast amounts of data, optimizing data flow and collection for cross-functional teams, designing core data objects and models for the entire company, implementing and maintaining data quality checks and monitoring systems, developing client-facing reporting solutions, and supporting data-driven decision-making through the creation of metrics datasets and dashboards, collaborating with teams to optimize and improve data quality while delivering user-centric experiences.
