Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Operations Research, Finance, Economics or related quantitative discipline
5+ years proven experience in risk management especially AML, sanctions, or compliance analysis, with demonstrated experience in transaction monitoring, KYC / CDD processes, and sanctions screening within financial services or payments industry
5+ years of hands-on experience extracting and manipulating large data with SQL, experience with scripting in Python, Shell or R
Experience building visualizations using large datasets and multiple data sources using Looker or Tableau
Preferred: Master's degree in Mathematics

Responsibilities

Craft and refine compliance risk strategies and analytics works which include transactional monitoring and analysis, rule development and optimization, and ensuring regulatory compliance
Collaborate with partners in Compliance, Operations, Data Engineering, and Business teams to align strategies and support cross-functional initiatives and risk strategies
Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to integrate compliance requirements into new and existing products, ensuring scalability and regulatory adherence
Identify and recommend enhancements to compliance processes, workflows, and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of risk management
Communicate concise and actionable business strategies and present new strategy recommendations to senior management and regulatory bodies for approval
