Equivalent combination of education and experience
Experience in data analysis
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of Credit Union business operations, products, and compliance requirements
Ability to conduct Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) and inferential statistical analysis
Ability to build data models, reports, visualizations, and dashboards
Ability to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines
Ability to assess data cleanliness and ensure data accuracy
Ability to mentor data analysts and data scientists
Ability to adhere to best practices in reporting and analysis
Completion of required training programs

Responsibilities

Collaborate with business owners, data scientists, and data engineers to identify data analysis efforts
Collect, integrate, clean, and refine data
Communicate results and implications to team members and internal customers
Produce high-quality quantitative analyses
Train customers in the interpretation and use of reports and dashboards
Provide leadership and mentorship to data analysts and data scientists
Establish and execute best practices
Conduct descriptive and exploratory analytics
Design, build, and maintain data pipelines
Assess data cleanliness and clean data
Coordinate with IT, data engineering, and line of business teams to resolve data issues
Build domain expertise in credit union subject areas
Maintain a professional image and demeanor
Deliver friendly, caring service to internal and external members
Comply with all applicable rules, regulations, and policies
Maintain strict confidentiality of member information
Complete required training programs
Perform other related duties as assigned
