Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business with a major in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field, and a minimum of four years of experience as a Senior Data QA Analyst, Advanced Data Analyst, Data Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role. Applicants should have at least three years of experience with SQL, Snowflake, Redshift, process automation and improvement, Python, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, Mode Analytics, or OBIEE, data pipelines’ implementation and validation, AWS or equivalent, data storytelling and presentation, test planning, feedback, and execution, and Agile/Scrum development processes. Additionally, two years of experience using statistical and machine learning models, one year utilizing automated testing tools, and one year of project management experience are required.
The Senior Data QA Analyst will analyze and understand all data streams collected, calculated, and attributed by iSpot, coordinate and lead testing efforts with other analysts, design and implement testing plans for products, build data monitoring and test automation tools using Python or Java, conduct peer reviews on other team members’ code and provide feedback, conduct root cause analyses and investigate production data issues while collaborating with other teams, identify procedures and scenarios for the quality control of products and services, process product reviews and inform the development team of defects and errors, communicate quantitative and qualitative findings from test results to the development team, monitor efforts to resolve product issues and track progress, ensure that the final product satisfies the product requirements and meets end-user expectations, spot areas for improvement to enhance the product’s efficiency, and mentor, train, and operate as a technical subject matter expert and thought leader for junior and mid-level analysts.
