Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field (equivalent experience may be considered)
  • 5 years of experience in cybersecurity M&A integration, cybersecurity project management, security risk assessment, audit, or third-party security risk management
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders across the enterprise
  • Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CTPRP, CTPRA, ISSAP, or ISSEP
  • Additional certifications in cybersecurity, risk management, or audit practices
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity M&A integration and third-party security assessments
  • Strong project management and budgeting experience in cybersecurity or technology
  • Ability to coordinate and manage internal and external team resources effectively
  • Expertise in information security, privacy domains, and process improvement initiatives
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and organizational skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, negotiate, and manage relationships with stakeholders
  • Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and making decisions with incomplete information
  • Ability to work independently within a geographically dispersed team
  • Fluency in written and spoken English (minimum B2+ level)
  • Costa Rican nationality or valid immigration status in Costa Rica (residing outside Costa Rica not considered; no relocation)

Responsibilities

  • Execute cybersecurity assessments of M&As, including risk identification and evaluation
  • Manage end-to-end cybersecurity integration processes and activities
  • Coordinate and lead cross-functional meetings, supporting customer due diligence efforts
  • Provide continuous updates and reporting to key stakeholders and senior management
  • Support the continuous improvement of integration approaches, cost models, and reporting practices
