Requirements

  • Solid background in data analysis and finance, with experience in Data, statistics, economics, or finance
  • Excellent skills in SQL and Python, with ability to develop analyses using these tools
  • Successful experience in collections/recovery or credit
  • Rigorous and proactive in improving reports and analyses
  • Ability to take ownership of subjects and drive them forward
  • Ability to manage projects involving multiple internal teams
  • Comfortable with data visualization tools in general
  • Ability to synthesize analyses clearly (e.g., in a few slides or lines)
  • Ability to work in French and English

Responsibilities

  • Drive the implementation of the company's collections strategy and priorities
  • Develop, maintain, and share reports and data analyses related to debt, collections, and broader Finance for Octopus Energy France
  • Propose processes for collections and preventive measures to ensure an excellent customer experience (e.g., adjusting monthly payments, staggering debts)
  • Optimize credit decisions based on data (A/B tests of workflows, threshold decisions)
  • Model debt in collaboration with Finance teams in France and the Group for provisioning
  • Develop close collaboration between your team and the Group Credit teams and Data France
