Requirements

  • 5-7+ years of copywriting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, results-driven setting with a portfolio of work to share
  • Ability to create a broad range of copy, including pitchy ad copy, 30-character headlines, distilling complex product verbiage into easy-to-understand value props and how-tos, conversion copywriting for A/B tests, and direct response emails
  • Experience writing for App Store Optimization and search engine marketing, blending keywords and conversion
  • Some passion for, or knowledge of, the fintech space, with proactive eagerness to understand customers, interview internal stakeholders, and learn on the fly
  • Comfortable writing for multiple projects on varying deadlines, working with cross-functional leads for course correction and buy-in
  • Experience collaborating with external creative agencies and freelancers

Responsibilities

  • Ideate, write, and edit a variety of copy for ads, emails, in-app features, website, product descriptions, and more
  • Support Senior Content Manager with editing and providing feedback on blog posts, video scripts, and more
  • Maintain Brigit’s persona and tone of voice across all written material to reinforce brand identity
  • Collaborate across teams on copy needs, including CRM, product, content marketing, social media, and user acquisition
  • Edit and provide a second set of eyes on copy produced by other teams
  • Regularly audit copy across the ecosystem to ensure consistency
