Requirements

10+ years of experience managing construction projects, including tenant improvement projects for data centers or similarly complex facilities
Deep understanding of managing the construction of primary building structures and critical systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing, for industrial or commercial facilities
Experience overseeing large-scale base building projects with multiple stakeholders, tight deadlines, and ambitious goals
Strong ability to build productive relationships with contractors, vendors, and internal teams to drive project success
Proven skill in managing multiple priorities simultaneously, including schedules, budgets, and project details
Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%) to oversee multiple project sites

Responsibilities

Manage end-to-end construction projects for tenant improvements within data centers, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and budget
Act as the primary point of contact for tenants to understand their improvement requests and ensure alignment with operational and design standards
Review tenant requirements and coordinate the design and installation of upgrades
Collaborate closely with tenants, contractors, engineers, and internal operations teams to ensure seamless project execution
Ensure all tenant improvement work complies with local building codes, safety standards, and lease agreements
Proactively identify and address potential scope changes, risks, or challenges, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle
Coordinate with internal stakeholders, subcontractors, architects, and engineers to plan and execute project scopes
