Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Actuarial Mathematics or a related field; Master’s degree is an asset
  • 10+ years of experience in compensation analysis, HR, or a related field, with a focus on strategic compensation planning. Experience in international compensation is considered an asset

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and administration of comprehensive compensation strategies, policies, and frameworks to align with business objectives
  • Conduct advanced job evaluations and salary benchmarking to establish competitive pay structures
  • Analyze compensation trends, perform market analysis, and provide strategic recommendations for salary adjustments and incentive programs
  • Design and oversee the implementation of incentive and variable pay programs tailored to organizational needs
  • Ensure compliance with pay equity regulations, labor laws, and internal policies, proactively addressing any discrepancies
  • Act as a key advisor to HR leadership and business units on compensation-related matters, including salary negotiations and policy interpretations
  • Partner with HR and finance teams on annual compensation reviews, budgeting, and workforce planning
  • Utilize HRIS and compensation tools to enhance reporting capabilities and improve decision-making processes
  • Stay ahead of industry best practices, trends, and legislative updates impacting compensation
