Requirements

  • Around 4-7 years of experience in a sales role
  • Experience in the shipping, maritime, and/or container markets (highly desirable)
  • Good English and Japanese level; excellent presentation skills and the ability to convince and relate to prospects and clients
  • Experience in Sales selling solutions in the Maritime, Commodities, and/or B2B SaaS or data solutions
  • Familiarity and contacts within the maritime community
  • Proactive ‘hunter’ mentality with a strategic mindset; a team player who prioritizes the business and seeks long-term gains
  • Must have full working rights in Japan without sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily outbound sales activities (email, chat, phone)
  • Schedule and conduct meetings with decision-makers
  • Manage and update customer and sales information in the CRM
  • Collaborate with internal teams (pre-sales, research)
  • Engage with the maritime community and leverage existing contacts
