Requirements

Member of the bar in at least one U.S. State
At least 10 years of combined law firm and in-house legal department experience
At least 5 years of experience negotiating sell-side B2B SaaS Agreements, DPAs, and partnership agreements with Fortune 500 clients
Preferably in-house at a B2B tech company
Strong sense of business, balancing risk and communicating well with the legal team
Ability to build relationships with non-lawyers
Experience working closely with sales teams
Ability to work independently and take ownership of multiple demanding projects
Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
Proficient with Google Docs, Gmail, Word, Adobe Acrobat Pro, DocuSign, Salesforce, CLM, and Slack

Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate technology contracts of all types, including SaaS agreements, DPAs, BAAs, Security Addenda, Referral/Reseller/VAR/Strategic Partnership Agreements, and Vendor contracts
Collaborate with internal business clients and cross-functional stakeholders
Create/update playbooks, revise legal templates, and mentor other legal and contract professionals
Create robust legal collaboration processes
Work asynchronously as part of a fully-remote, distributed team
Ensure the success of the sales organization and profitable achievement of the company’s sales goals
Identify risk and explain that risk to the client and internal stakeholders
