Candidates should possess 6+ years of relevant software development experience building and operating scalable, fault-tolerant, distributed systems, along with experience in Go, C/C++, or Java. They should also have experience with concurrency, multithreading, and the deployment of distributed system architectures.
Responsibilities
The Senior Cloud Performance Engineer will be responsible for benchmarking system and database performance, conducting database performance analysis, performing capacity sizing and optimization, troubleshooting and debugging application and server errors, recommending configuration tuning/optimizations for performance bottlenecks, working closely with the ClickHouse core development team and other teams to improve performance, planning and driving Chaos initiatives, developing and managing tools for chaos experiments, studying problems in software resilience and operational spaces, and extending the backend to enable Chaos Engineering techniques.
