Requirements

  • A minimum bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience on public cloud networking & security design, implementation & support
  • 3+ years of experience in public cloud firewalls/VPN and networking
  • 3+ years of experience managing production Kubernetes infrastructure with exposure to the use of cloud vendor Kubernetes solutions such as AKS, EKS, and GKE
  • Deep knowledge on Kubernetes, container and image security, and can confidently work with and lead cross engineering teams
  • Strong expertise in DevOps and CI/CD implementation in public cloud deployments
  • Thorough knowledge of cloud-native development
  • Understanding of microservice design and architectural patterns
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation
  • This position requires onsite work at Truveta office in Bellevue WA
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in implementation & securing platforms/services in one or more public clouds (Azure, AWS, GCP)
  • Self-starter with proven ability to develop creative solutions

Responsibilities

  • Design, secure, and automate cloud-based infrastructure to meet technical, security and business needs
  • Design, implement and maintain CI/CD solutions to support rapid development and integration
  • Automate deployment and testing processes
  • Secure Kubernetes clusters, containers, and images
  • Develop Kubernetes-based solutions and improve Kubernetes infrastructure
  • Work with other engineers and stakeholders to ensure that our systems are reliable and scalable
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest DevSecOps trends and technologies
  • Work with software engineers to apply automated test and documentation processes
  • Troubleshoot and resolve network, automation pipelines, and infrastructure issues
  • Build, maintain, and monitor configuration management of release products
  • Integrate static code analysis and other security mechanisms into pipeline
  • Communicate with multidisciplinary teams and articulate technical concepts and ideas effectively
  • Support innovation and cost management by developing new ideas for cloud infrastructure and related tools
  • Interact with compliance team to deliver compliance certificates and remediates gaps during compliance finding and controls
