Requirements

  • BSc in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or software engineering roles
  • Proven experience implementing CI/CD pipelines at scale (e.g., GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or Cloud Build)
  • Deep understanding of cloud-native architecture and networking fundamentals
  • Strong experience with GCP (preferred) or AWS/Azure
  • Expertise in Terraform, Ansible, and container orchestration
  • Comfortable working in Linux-based environments
  • Strong communicator with a problem-solving mindset and collaborative approach
  • Familiarity with backend languages such as Go, Python, or C++, and databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or Elasticsearch is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and implementation of a secure, scalable cloud platform as we migrate from IBM Cloud to Google Cloud
  • Build and maintain GitOps-driven CI/CD pipelines for monorepos and microservices
  • Partner with application teams to architect and deploy cloud-native solutions that improve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency
  • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and related tooling
  • Participate in on-call rotations, contributing to incident response and postmortems
  • Continuously improve platform standards, automation, and developer experience
