Requirements

3-5 years experience as a civil drafter within Engineering Consultancies in Australia (Remote)
Experience within built form developments (industrial, commercial, education, sports etc.) and/or land development (masterplan subdivisions, townhouse developments etc.)
Relevant Tertiary Qualifications
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Bluebeam, & Autodesk
Experience with drafting from designs generated in Civil 3D or 12D Models
Understanding of local and state government regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements
Ability to manage multiple projects and goals simultaneously, while working autonomously
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed civil infrastructure drawings for roads, drainage, earthworks, and utilities using Autodesk Civil 3D and 12D Model
Generate accurate 3D models, surfaces, and corridor designs to support engineering concepts and construction planning
Interpret design briefs, sketches, and survey data to produce clear and accurate technical drawings
Collaborate with engineers, designers, and surveyors to ensure coordinated and efficient design outcomes
Conduct quality checks to ensure drawings meet project specifications, standards, and client requirements
Process and integrate survey data into 12D to support surface modeling and alignment design
Prepare plan/profile sheets, cross-sections, and quantity take-offs for tender and construction documentation
Maintain and manage drawing files with proper version control, layer standards, and file organization
Support clash detection and conflict resolution between infrastructure elements within design models
Update and produce as-constructed drawings to reflect final built conditions accurately
