Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software house or enterprise software delivery environment
  • Proven ability to own end-to-end business analysis activities on complex software projects
  • Strong expertise in writing use cases, defining workflows, and structuring system behaviors
  • Proficiency in modeling tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio, BPMN tools) and documentation platforms (e.g., Confluence, Notion)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills—able to interface with both non-technical clients and technical teams
  • Strong understanding of system architecture, APIs, and integration points (at a functional level)
  • Highly organized, proactive, and able to work independently across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Excellent Arabic and English proficiency—both written and spoken; capable of writing clear, professional documentation and conducting client-facing discussions in both English and Arabic
  • Previous experience in client-facing roles or consulting environments (preferred)
  • Exposure to domains such as finance, logistics, health tech, or enterprise SaaS (preferred)
  • Familiarity with SQL, data structures, or interface specs (reading-level, not coding) (preferred)
  • Experience in Agile environments (Scrum, Kanban) from a requirements delivery lens (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead requirement elicitation sessions with clients to identify business goals, constraints, and functional needs
  • Translate business needs into clear and structured artifacts: use cases, business process models, data flow diagrams, and domain models
  • Produce and maintain high-quality documentation including BRDs, SRSs, including system-level specifications
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers to ensure user-centric design
  • Work closely with architects and developers to validate feasibility and clarify implementation details
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for business logic and functional scope throughout the delivery lifecycle
  • Identify gaps, risks, and dependencies in early stages and propose pragmatic solutions
  • Support technical teams by clarifying requirements and resolving open issues during development
  • Ensure documentation remains current and aligns with project goals as requirements evolve
