Requirements

7+ years of experience in wireless connectivity or embedded software development, with significant focus on Bluetooth Classic and BLE
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Strong programming experience in C/C++ for embedded systems, and Java/Kotlin/Swift for mobile platforms
Deep expertise in Bluetooth stacks, profiles, pairing/bonding mechanisms, custom services, and performance optimization
Experience with embedded systems and real-time operating systems
Hands-on experience with iOS CoreBluetooth and Android Bluetooth APIs
Understanding of wireless coexistence challenges and mitigation strategies

Responsibilities

Lead the architecture, design, and development of Bluetooth Classic and BLE features for embedded platforms and smartphones (iOS and Android)
Serve as a subject matter expert and mentor, guiding team members on best practices for wireless development and debugging
Collaborate with product, hardware, and mobile teams to define end-to-end Bluetooth connectivity requirements and solutions
Debug, optimize, and validate wireless protocols and firmware across multi-core embedded systems and mobile OS environments
Design and implement automated testing frameworks for Bluetooth validation and interoperability
Stay ahead of industry trends, Bluetooth SIG standards, and emerging technologies, ensuring Motive products remain cutting-edge
