Requirements

  • Expertise in Storage & Backup infrastructure, particularly Zerto, and Operating systems
  • Ability to provide Operate, Admin, and Consulting support in accordance with contract terms, technical standards, and industry standards (e.g., ITIL)
  • Experience in IT infrastructure lifecycle support, including planning, project management, installation, ongoing management/monitoring/troubleshooting, and de-installation
  • Capability to manage technical/service relationships with customers, subcontractors, and vendors
  • Proficiency in resolving customer issues via telephone, email, or remote sessions, including reproducing issues in-house
  • Skills in incident management: resolve single and cross-technology incidents independently and lead team members on complex incidents
  • Expertise in escalation management: identify, manage, lead technical escalations, and participate in formal escalations during crises
  • Knowledge of problem management: proactively and reactively identify solutions, perform trend and root cause analysis
  • Competence in change management/implementation: independently prepare, review, implement, rollback, and test plans; perform risk and impact analysis

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical input, solutions, and recommendations for deal pursuits
  • Support transition/transformation efforts
  • Resolve customer issues via telephone, email, or remote sessions, with timely responses, follow-ups, recommendations, updates, and action plans
  • Identify and escalate issues to vendors per Standard Operating Procedures
  • Leverage internal resources (peers, mentors, knowledge base, forums, tools) for effective solutions
  • Collaborate with CoE/HW teams to diagnose and isolate complex issues
  • Provide consulting support in area of expertise
  • Maintain quality in case documentation, SLA timeframes, and operational metrics
  • Perform within team Productivity Measure (scorecard)
