Requirements

The Senior Backend Engineer will architect, design, and implement scalable backend services, design and build high-volume APIs, improve integrations with partners like Stripe, and develop a comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business integrate to accomplish business goals. Strong experience with low latency API development and payment systems is required, along with experience in taxation/compliance systems and expanding payment offerings.

Responsibilities

The Senior Backend Engineer will mentor other engineers on best practices, code design considerations, and quality, conduct unit and integration tests, and collaborate with software engineers, product managers, designers, and QA analysts in an autonomous, supportive team environment. They will also contribute to laying the groundwork for Subscriptions and Plan Management, optimizing and expanding dynamic integration with Stripe, and building strong pricing and packaging foundations for Webflow as it scales up product led growth (PLG) while growing enterprise business.
