Experience with GraphQL and live commerce is also desirable.
The Senior Backend Engineer will be a member of the core engineering team, focused on developing various services and experiences for eBay Live, collaborating closely with peers, product managers, business analysts, and operations teams. They will be involved in the entire development process, from design to release, actively participating in code and ADR reviews, and helping the team build a forward-looking, modern platform. This role involves triaging and debugging production issues, mentoring junior team members, and working across multiple eBay domains to develop innovative solutions that meet functional and non-functional standards.
