The Sales Engineering organization is seeking a Cybersecurity and Observability Architect to join our Field CTO Office. This role involves providing leadership in working with both technical and business executives in the design and architecture of the Snowflake Cloud Data Platform as a critical component of their enterprise security and observability frameworks. This is a customer-facing role, allowing you to directly work with the most cutting-edge strategic customers across North America. You'll work with sales teams, product management, and technology partners to leverage best practices and reference architectures, highlighting Snowflake’s Cloud Data Platform as a core technology enabling comprehensive cybersecurity and observability solutions.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity and observability principles.
  • Experience working with enterprise security and observability frameworks.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
  • Comfortable interacting with executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Passion for Snowflake’s Cloud Data Platform and its capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the sales team and channel partners to understand customer security needs and strategize solutions.
  • Present Snowflake’s Cybersecurity Workload capabilities and ecosystem to executives and technical stakeholders.
  • Drive the development of Snowflake Connected Applications, providing out-of-the-box integrations and visualizations for security data lakes.
  • Build out Snowflake’s technical perspective on Observability data lakes.
  • Guide and lead Proof of Concepts (POCs) with Snowflake’s largest customers.
  • Champion and develop architecture patterns for scenarios such as using threat intelligence and searching log data.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Product, Engineering, Marketing, and Support to drive customer acquisition and Snowflake usage.
  • Partner with the Product Marketing team to define and support Snowflake analytics solutions.
