Requirements

Candidates must have over 6 years of experience in game development, television, or film using Maya or equivalent 3D software and experience collaborating with Directors, Animation Supervisors, and Leads to develop high-end cinematic animations. A demo reel showcasing high-quality hand-keyed animations with strong body mechanics and engaging performances is essential, along with a mastery of the 12 principles of animation, good communication skills, and a team-player attitude. Artistic skills such as storyboarding, gesture drawing, 2D animation, composition, and technical skills in rigging, scripting, and pipeline understanding are considered advantageous.

Responsibilities

The Senior Animator will be responsible for animating characters to meet Blizzard Entertainment's high standards for animated films. They will contribute to crafting the next generation of animated films and provide constructive feedback to the Cinematics team, both technically and artistically.
