Requirements

  • 7+ years experience in analytical roles with strong data analysis skills (SQL & Python), data modelling (e.g. airflow, dbt) and experience with BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
  • Experience building, developing and leading analysts (ideally a team of 5+), including performing detailed performance reviews and providing constructive feedback
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, identifying impactful opportunities, triaging requests by impact, and adapting analysis scope for 80/20 results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with expertise in crafting dashboards and visualisations that effectively communicate data

Responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional leads (Product, Engineering etc.) to define the strategy for the Regional Platform squad, identify opportunities for impact, review team plans and progress, and provide effective feedback
  • Establish clear goals, define measurable KPIs, develop compelling narratives to communicate progress, proactively identify areas requiring action, and synthesize data from various teams for a comprehensive view
  • Lead and develop a team of analysts: support professional development via performance feedback & coaching, hire and plan capacity, ensure time is spent to maximise impact, and increase scalability via automation
  • Take ownership of complex cross-team projects to unblock critical product decisions, such as building granular data infrastructure for payment processing, establishing Squad KPIs, and analysing SWIFT network data to optimise price, speed, and coverage
