Requirements

7+ years experience in analytical roles with strong data analysis skills (SQL & Python), data modelling (e.g. airflow, dbt) and experience with BI tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau, PowerBI)
Experience building, developing and leading analysts (ideally a team of 5+), including performing detailed performance reviews and providing constructive feedback
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, identifying impactful opportunities, triaging requests by impact, and adapting analysis scope for 80/20 results
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with expertise in crafting dashboards and visualisations that effectively communicate data

Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional leads (Product, Engineering etc.) to define the strategy for the Regional Platform squad, identify opportunities for impact, review team plans and progress, and provide effective feedback
Establish clear goals, define measurable KPIs, develop compelling narratives to communicate progress, proactively identify areas requiring action, and synthesize data from various teams for a comprehensive view
Lead and develop a team of analysts: support professional development via performance feedback & coaching, hire and plan capacity, ensure time is spent to maximise impact, and increase scalability via automation
Take ownership of complex cross-team projects to unblock critical product decisions, such as building granular data infrastructure for payment processing, establishing Squad KPIs, and analysing SWIFT network data to optimise price, speed, and coverage
