Responsibilities

  • Define & drive sourcing strategy: Establish and execute category sourcing strategies, manage budgets, and use insights and creativity to strengthen the customer experience
  • Build strong partnerships: Leverage leadership and influencing skills to collaborate externally with suppliers and internally with merchants, Product Development, and cross-functional business partners
  • Influence business decisions: Partner with Merchants and Merchandise Operations to shape decisions across replenishment, supply chain, manufacturing, store operations, planning, assortment, layouts, budgets, modular planning, and pricing
  • Create & launch innovative products at EDLC: Work hand-in-hand with Product Development to design, test, and launch new items for Walmart’s Private Brands at incredible costing
  • Become the category expert: Know suppliers, customers, and product landscape better than anyone—and work to anticipate what’s next
