Requirements

  • Strong working knowledge of Procurement processes, policies and best practices with a minimum of 2 years experience in a Procurement environment
  • Strong data analytics experience including advanced Excel skills
  • Highly motivated and self-directed; ability to prioritise and implement while under pressure
  • Highly adaptable and flexible; able to adjust quickly to new situations and changing priorities
  • Comfortable in a varied role and growing and developing team, able to take initiative even under unfamiliar circumstances
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in procurement processes, contract management, and vendor communications
  • Excellence in analytical ability
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple procurement requests and operational tasks simultaneously

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and analyse trends in overall third party spend in order to make recommendations for the future, and to identify areas for possible savings or operational improvement
  • Develop, establish, implement, and carry out supplier and out-sourcer guidelines, obligations, and service level agreements
  • Align with all purchasing policies and procedures, including those for goods and services, in conjunction with department leads and department-specific requirements
  • Assist with the development and delivery of purchasing reports, requirements documentation, and tender documents
  • Review and approve purchasing and contract requests for the business
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key team members and ensure regular communication and reporting as appropriate
  • Effectively communicate procurement strategies to team members and partners in a timely and clear way
  • Support the planning, implementation, and purchasing/procurement strategies for a variety of indirect categories across the company globally
  • Assist stakeholders to acquire resources within budget, facilitate communication between team members, suppliers, and key business partners
  • Assist in the proactive planning and sourcing of appropriate goods and services to help Checkout.com grow and meet its strategic objectives
  • Responsible for vendor analytics, ensuring quality control throughout the contracting and performance lifecycle
  • Ensure Procurement guidelines, processes, principles, ethics, and sustainability objectives are accounted for and constantly strive to deliver the lowest TCO for solutions
  • Work on operational improvement projects to enhance the efficiency of the procurement team and improve experiences for key stakeholders
  • Support the Category Manager for Shared Services, Marketing and Commercial
