Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in Hedge Fund Accounting, Reconciliation, or Fund Administration
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments: equities, bonds, futures, options, swaps, forwards, CFDs
  • Knowledge of hedge fund structures and strategies
  • Familiarity with financial statements (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet)
  • Ability to streamline processes and work with technology teams for automation
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Bachelor’s / MBA degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • Professional certifications like CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CA, or CPA are highly desirable but not mandatory (nice to have)
  • Certification courses on capital markets (nice to have)
  • Strong command in Microsoft Excel (nice to have)
  • Understanding of SWIFT MT’s 103 & 202 (nice to have)

Responsibilities

  • Perform cash reconciliations with fund administrators
  • Calculate hedge fund fees and manage related processes
  • Review bank balances, sweep accounts, and ensure accurate cash reporting
  • Handle invoice management and payment processing
  • Collaborate with CPOs, IMs, administrators, clients, and vendors globally
  • Prepare and report withholding statements for tax purposes
  • Support regulatory reporting requirements in partnership with onshore teams
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and control
