2–5 years of experience in Hedge Fund Accounting, Reconciliation, or Fund Administration
Strong understanding of financial instruments: equities, bonds, futures, options, swaps, forwards, CFDs
Knowledge of hedge fund structures and strategies
Familiarity with financial statements (P&L, Cash Flow, Balance Sheet)
Ability to streamline processes and work with technology teams for automation
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
Bachelor’s / MBA degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
Professional certifications like CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), CA, or CPA are highly desirable but not mandatory (nice to have)
Certification courses on capital markets (nice to have)
Strong command in Microsoft Excel (nice to have)
Understanding of SWIFT MT’s 103 & 202 (nice to have)

Responsibilities

Perform cash reconciliations with fund administrators
Calculate hedge fund fees and manage related processes
Review bank balances, sweep accounts, and ensure accurate cash reporting
Handle invoice management and payment processing
Collaborate with CPOs, IMs, administrators, clients, and vendors globally
Prepare and report withholding statements for tax purposes
Support regulatory reporting requirements in partnership with onshore teams
Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and control
