Candidates should possess a Master's degree or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field with a focus on Deep Learning, and demonstrate at least 5 years of experience in developing and deploying AI algorithms, particularly in the domain of medical imaging or healthcare. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python and experience with deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch are essential. Familiarity with clinical data and healthcare workflows is highly desirable.
The Senior AI Scientist will be responsible for creating AI algorithms to reduce misdiagnosis in radiology and improve patient care, investigating and developing new AI methods to enhance Covera’s understanding of radiology reports and images, driving innovation and publications, collaborating with data science, clinical, and engineering teams to build and deploy the clinical research roadmap, mentoring junior researchers, and contributing to AI development processes.
