Requirements

Candidates should have proven experience as a senior accounts receivable officer, ideally in high-volume environments, strong knowledge of accounting principles and fair credit practices, exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy, confidence working autonomously and making decisions without constant direction, ability to navigate change, manage competing priorities, and stay calm under pressure, excellent communication skills and experience in building client relationships, and proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Xero and Cin7 (preferred).

Responsibilities

The Senior Accounts Receivable Officer will maintain and update the billing system, generate invoices, credit notes, and account statements with precision and timeliness, perform account reconciliations and support the month-end close, monitor customer accounts and drive collections, reducing aged debt, investigate discrepancies, communicate with customers, and resolve queries with professionalism, prepare AR performance analysis to support leadership decision-making, coach and support the AR team, helping improve efficiency and service levels, identify opportunities to streamline AR processes and implement improvements, exercise discretion and integrity in handling confidential financial data.
