Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • At least 3+ years of related experience
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
  • Lead month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial results
  • Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
  • Analyze and explain variances between actual and budgeted results, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
  • Support preparation of financial statements and assist with internal and external audit requests
  • Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AP, AR, and cost accounting, to ensure data integrity across the ledger
  • Participate in system and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
