Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
At least 3+ years of related experience
Strong knowledge of GAAP and month-end close processes
Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced Excel skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities

Responsibilities

Manage full-cycle general ledger accounting, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations
Lead month-end and year-end closing activities to ensure timely and accurate financial results
Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
Analyze and explain variances between actual and budgeted results, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement
Support preparation of financial statements and assist with internal and external audit requests
Maintain and improve internal controls over financial reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including AP, AR, and cost accounting, to ensure data integrity across the ledger
Participate in system and process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
